Moody Blue Cottage (With a Touch of Red)!

Hi Everyone!

Here's another delightful cottage.....this one by the Cottage Company of Harbor Springs.

I discovered this company a few years ago and really love all their work.  It's owned by a husband and wife team, Rob and Vee Mossburg.  He's the builder and she's the interior designer.  At that time, the company was smaller, but now I see it has grown somewhat (no surprise!) and Vee now has another designer on board.

You can see the detail that goes into the construction and Vee has a way with interiors - big or small she makes them warm and inviting......sometimes colorful and sometimes neutral.....and always personalized for the homeowner.

Enjoy!

Float In Cottage

Good morning, Everyone!

Here is the last of the cottages I am featuring from the same Maine compound I mentioned on Monday. They are from Cabot Cove in Kennebunkport, Maine and the whole compound is as charming as each cottage.

This cottage, with it's nautical touch, is a total charmer.  The rooms are very small, but big enough to accommodate the necessities.  The smaller, the cosier.

The rest of the cottages and designs can be seen at cabotcovecottages.com

Enjoy!

What a great night table in a small space!

Diamond Baratta Design

Diamond Baratta Design is one of a kind!  Two friends, William Diamond and Anthony Baratta, head this design firm in New York City.

Their rooms stand alone in the world of design, as they are able to envision and incorporate ideas that would stop most people in their tracks.  No detail is too small, and if they are unable to find what they need for an interior, they have it custom made.

After many years in the business, they now have a field of experts at their behest - quilters, rugmakers, artists, cabinetmakers, embroiderers and large manufacturers of textiles, such as Lee Jofa, and carpet maker, Stark Carpets, to produce their personal designs.

And therein lies their not so secret 'secret'!  What they produce is one-of-a-kind!

Today, I am posting one of their nautically designed interiors.......and you will see what I mean.

Enjoy!
